About Stephen Medcraft
Steve Medcraft – or as many would know him “Jack” - has been actively and passionately involved with the Sunbury community since the early 1980’s. Starting out many years ago as a player/coach for the Sunbury Lions and then officiating as a senior RDFL Umpire for a number of years, he is currently involved again with the Sunbury Lions Football/Netball Club as the Vice President and now enjoys watching his son Mathew play.
Having been a strong and vocal advocate for Victims of Crime, he has appeared in a number of TV interviews defending their rights for proper sentencing and Justice. This advocacy role was also extended to the community of Sunbury with his election to the Hume City Council in 2003 and furthermore his exceptional community work was recently recognised at a Reception celebrating Sunbury’s 175th birthday where he was inducted as one of the 175 faces of Sunbury over that period.
Steve worked in the Real Estate field for a number of years up until a car accident momentarily derailed his aspirations and is now once again looking forward to reigniting his passion for real estate and providing his vendors and buyers with not just an agent, but a strong and decisive advocate striving for the best result for all his clients that he will have the pleasure in assisting. Steve also values having the backing of Melbourne's leading real estate group and understands that the Barry Plant systems, innovative marketing, service standards and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome will give his clients a winning edge.
